The Dead Daisies Release Live Track“BURN” (Live From Daisyland) “Burn” (Live From Daisyland) – Official VideoThe Dead Daisies are set to radiate some heat, releasing their fourth track from the ‘Live From Daisyland’ EP, and it’s the timeless Deep Purple classic “Burn”. Alongside “Rise Up”, Bustle And Flow”, and “Long Way To Go”, “Burn” crowns this sensational Live EP.
A crowd favorite, “Burn” was released back in 1974 and became a Deep Purple concert opener, taking over from “Highway Star” and continues to delight fans to this day.
The Daisies took the packed to the rafters crowd at the iconic Rock City Nottingham, England on a rockin’ ride with this seven-minute plus version of “Burn”. Glenn’s soaring vocals, Tommy’s thunderous beats, and the dueling guitar attack of Doug and David take this LIVE version of “Burn” to the next level.
“Always a great tune to play! So this is one of those songs that takes on a life of its’ own with the band…enjoy this and we look forward to playing it this year with Brian Tichy on drums” – Doug Aldrich
The band will kick off their EU Summer Tour with a plethora of shows from June 2nd in Hamburg with Foreigner and traversing the continent to finish up at the Time To Rock Festival in Sweden on August 5th.
They’ll be mixing it up with an array of headliners, arena and amphitheater shows with Whitesnake, Foreigner, and Judas Priest and hanging to tear up a stage near you. The line-up of Glenn Hughes, Doug Aldrich, David Lowy and Brian Tichy is going to be electric on their maiden jaunt.
“It’s been nearly four years since we’ve toured Europe. We can’t wait to return with this lineup, and play songs from our new album along with your Daisies favorites!” – David Lowy
